This User Privacy Policy is a policy regarding the use and handling of your information by the "FlashLabel Print Service" app (hereinafter referred to as the "App"), published by Xiamen Print Future Technology Co.Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us") for users who use the App's services. The App is a companion utility for the "FlashLabel Pro" app: it registers a print service with the Android system so that documents you print through the system print dialog are handed over to FlashLabel Pro installed on the same device for further processing and printing.
The App does not require an account, does not offer in-app registration or login, and does not collect, upload, or sell your personal data or the content of your documents to any server. All document handling takes place on your device. Please read this policy carefully to understand how the App works with information on your device.
The App runs entirely on your device and does not transmit document content or personal data to us or to any third-party server. The following kinds of information are handled locally, solely to operate the print service:
1. Print documents. When you submit a print job through the Android system print dialog, the document (typically a PDF file) is written to the App's private cache directory on your device and then handed over — only on your device, via a standard system sharing mechanism — to FlashLabel Pro installed on the same device. The document is never uploaded by the App. Temporary copies remain in the App's cache directory; they may be cleared by the system at any time and are removed when you uninstall the App. Once a document has been handed over to FlashLabel Pro, any further handling of it in FlashLabel Pro is governed by the FlashLabel Pro Privacy Policy.
2. Print job information. The document name, page count, page size, number of copies, and color mode of a print job are read from the print job and used on your device to hand the job over to FlashLabel Pro and to show it in a notification. This information is not sent anywhere else.
3. App settings. Whether the print service is enabled is stored in the App's local storage on your device. You can change or reset it at any time in the App or in the system print settings.
4. Installed-app check. To determine whether documents can be handed over, the App asks the Android system whether FlashLabel Pro is installed on your device. Only this single, specific app is queried; the result is used locally and is not transmitted anywhere.
To provide the functions described above, the App requests the following permissions:
Permission 1: Notifications (Android 13 and later). Used to show a notification when a print job is forwarded, so you can open the document in FlashLabel Pro by tapping the notification. The notification displays the name of the printed document. If you deny this permission, forwarding still works when the App is in use, but no notification will be shown.
Permission 2: Network. Declared by the Android system framework and app runtime. The current version of the App does not use the network to transmit your documents, print job information, or any personal data.
Permission 3: Billing. Reserved by an embedded payment library for possible optional in-app purchases. The current version of the App offers no purchases and does not use this permission. If purchases are offered in a future version, payment is processed entirely by Google Play, and we never receive your payment card details.
The App does not request Bluetooth, camera, microphone, location, contacts, SMS, or storage permissions.
The information described above is used only to: operate the system print service; hand your print documents over to FlashLabel Pro on the same device; show print job notifications; remember your settings; and check whether FlashLabel Pro is installed. We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or tracking, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.
The App does not send your documents or print job information to any server or third party. The only "disclosure" that occurs is the handover of a print job from the App to FlashLabel Pro on the same device, at your request, when you print. If we are ever required by law to disclose information, we will do so only within the limits permitted by applicable law.
All information handled by the App is stored locally on your device: settings in the App's private storage, and temporary print document copies in the App's private cache directory. There is no server-side storage of your data by the App. Uninstalling the App removes all of this data from your device.
The App itself embeds no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only third-party service involved is Google Play, which you may use (via a store link) to install or open the FlashLabel Pro app, and which would process any future in-app purchases. Google's handling of information is governed by Google's own privacy policy. Opening a store link does not transmit any of your documents or print job information to us.
Because your documents and print job information remain on your device and are never uploaded, the risk of remote exposure is inherently low. We protect local data by keeping it inside the App's private storage, which is isolated from other apps by the Android system, and by granting the receiving app only a temporary, per-job read permission on the shared document.
You can control everything the App does at any time:
1. Turn off the print service in the App or in the system print settings — the App will then receive no print jobs.
2. Clear the App's storage or cache in the Android system settings to remove settings and any remaining temporary document copies.
3. Uninstall the App to remove all data it holds. There is no account to delete, because the App has no account system.
The App is a device utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not collect personal information from any user, no such information of children is collected, used, or disclosed. We may revise this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means and update the "Last Updated Date" above. We recommend that you review this page periodically.
